Many muralists who worked the 47th Street walls have national importance. Touch them with the mouse to see their accomplishments.

Desi attended Kenwood Academy in Chicago.  He now teaches art and organizes community programs in Oakland. He has worked extensively with the Lakota in South Dakota and Montana, bringing young people from Oakland and Chicago to the Red Noize Indigeneous Youth Summit.
Raven attended Kenwood Acaedmy in Chicago and came back to teach there for many years.  He is now in New York City working on his doctorate.  Raven is a prolific muralist and rapper.  He established the University of Hip Hop to help young people become active in hip hop.
